Park Rules

General Rules

  • Keep camp site clean and neat with only “Camping Equipment”.
  • Destruction of trees is vandalism ORC section 901.51; ORC 2909.05
  • Do not cut any trees, or use trees for mounting any man-made items, screws, bolts etc.
  • A $100 fine per piece of hardware, all lights, ropes, hammocks etc, will be torn done by management and disposed of.
  • Previous bolts or screws are not to be used and reported to management immediately.
  • Burn only campfire wood, no manmade materials, pallets, leaves or pressure treated wood.
  • Limit campfire wood pile to (8’w x 4’h).
  • Repair, replace any and all damage to trees/plants that my family or guests damage.
  • Abuse to any facilities, trees, shrubs and or equipment will be grounds for termination without refund.
  • Make no site changes or additions without written permission from the park management.
  • Observe all proper sewer disposal methods. Potable water hoses only.
  • Do not bring any kind of fireworks/firearms into the campground.
  • Observe “Quiet Time” after 11 pm, (radios, music, TV’s, loud talking etc.)
  • No motorcycles or loud exhaust vehicles from 9pm to 9am.
  • No smoking in public areas, pavilions, bathrooms, events, playgrounds, swimming pool area – restrict smoking to designated areas and campsites only. Cigarette butts are litter.
  • Observe the site speed limit of 5 mph. Pedestrians have the right of way.
  • Remove all camper tarps by May 20. Maintain sites by mowing, raking and upkeep of total appearance. No trash in firepits.
  • Wash, paint, stain and maintain campers, sheds and structures so they are mold free, creating a neat and clean appearance to the satisfaction of the management.
  • No soliciting or operating any business in the campground. No “for sale” or political signs.
  • No repairs on vehicles other than basic camper maintenance. Do not use loud power tools on the weekends.
  • Report all guests to the office prior to their visit, assure that all guests leave the site by 11pm unless staying overnight.
  • Ensure that your guests pay the guest fee.
  • If a visitor is on your site without paying the guest fee they will be asked to leave.
  • You will lose your guest privileges and can have your permit revoked.
  • Overnight guests must leave by 11 am.
  • Drink alcohol responsibly, restricted to campsite, set a proper example for children.
  • Do not invite undesirable guests, criminals, sex offenders. Maintain a drug free site. No foul language.
  • No offsite garbage is to be brought to onsite dumpsters. Only kitchen size garbage bags, no mattresses, large appliances, equipment etc. are to be put in dumpsters.
  • No blue tarps on the sites. Use brown or green. Blue tarps are fine for winter storage.
  • No selling of your camper on site unless you fill out an application to do so and pay a $250 fee.

Children

  • Ensure all children under 18 are properly supervised.
  • Children under 8 must be supervised by parents in the restroom.
  • Children must be at their campsite by 10 pm.
  • The Swimming pool closes at 8 pm.
  • Children must be at least 14 years old or accompanied by an adult to swim at the pool.
  • All children must swim with a buddy.
  • There must be at least 2 people in pool.
  • No swimming alone.

Pet Policy

  • Keep all pets on a leash, pick up after them immediately, no incessant barking.
  • No aggressive dogs.
  • Must have shots up to date and be able to provide shot records.
  • Dogs must stay in campground.
  • Limit of two pets per site.
  • No unattended pets.

Additional Policies

  • Office hours are 10 am -6 pm.
  • Please call during those hours.
  • Please do not enter private residence on property.
  • Do not enter yard or knock on door.
  • Do not call /text the office after 8 pm, unless it is an emergency.
  • The Atwood Lake Country Campground assumes no responsibility for any loss to your RV or property.
  • You provide your own insurance.
  • Do not use the parks address to receive any mail or packages. Mail will be returned.
  • Golf carts are permitted with proper application and payment of $100 fee.
